Renewing Your Policy

We will send a renewal invitation showing your renewal price with enough time to make an informed decision about your renewal before the end of your current policy.
If you pay for your insurance monthly by Direct Debit and are opted into the automatic renewal process, we will automatically renew your car insurance and any optional extra insurances.
If you pay for your insurance in full, are opted into automatic renewals and authorised the automatic reuse of your debit/credit card, we will automatically renew your car insurance and any optional extras.
If you have opted out of the automatic renewal process we will not be able to automatically renew your policy and you will need to either renew online using the Customer Portal or Live Chat us in the Customer Portal if you need to make any changes.
Your renewal invitation will confirm what action is needed by you.
If you would like to renew your policy, make any changes or update your details before your renewal date then please access the Customer Portal and use Live Chat.
You can change your renewal preference at any time by logging into the Customer Portal.
Your policy end date will be stated on your policy documents. We will contact you approximately three weeks before your renewal date to advise of your new premium amount. Alternatively, you can contact our customer services team via LiveChat.
You can change your renewal preference online using the Customer Portal.
Things are changing, the majority of insurers no longer ask to see evidence of your No claims bonus when you switch insurance companies. You may only have to send proof of your No claims bonus if your insurer requests it. If they request it, your renewal invitation will state how many years' No claims bonus you currently hold and your new insurer should accept this as proof; you may need to send them the full renewal notice.
